This was made clear in the joint NeoCon Showroom experience  this past June, that highlighted both brands in one space. 

Both collections are designed to be easily separated into their separate components to aid in recycling and reuse as sustainability in design from beginning to end of use is an important focus in Andreu World’s processes and the design world has taken notice. Kirei recently entered the Carnegie fold, so specifying beautiful, healthy, sustainable spaces just got easier. Both companies have strived to create environmentally sustainable products and partnering up was like a natural progression. Kirei Executive Vice Chairman, John Stein summed it up best:

Check out this pair of new United Fabric releases… Pomp & Parade. Both are playful designs that bring interest to a piece of furniture…

Pomp is fun and almost looks like construction paper cut outs arranged together. Despite the many different shapes, its singular hues make for a subtler output.

Parade has so much movement, like stacks and stacks of paper laser cut in the opposite direction of the stacks, creating striped zigzag-like patterns marching like rows across its expanse—to different drums, er, directions.

Andreu World’s collaboration with Philippe Starck does not stop at Adela Rex and Forest, here is Solo, a stacking chair that celebrates wood in both solid and plywood forms. It recently won Gold for Stacking Chairs at NeoCon 2022 as well as a #Metropolislikes nod from Metropolis Magazine.

Its components are to the minimum of what is needed to create the chair… It is made for a circular economy, meaning the componentry that was puzzled together is also separable for recycling at the product’s end of life.

Cladding is a unique design opportunity that opens Architects and Designers up to artful territory, adding interest to a building’s exterior—all this while adding an extra layer of protection from the elements.
