Natural patterns bring calm

It’s no secret that many of Parasoleil’s patterns are inspired by nature, so despite the tough material they are cut into, depending on the patterns, they can soften and bring a certain calm, especially when the patterns mimic, say leaves falling, or waves flowing.

 Biophilic patterns—patterns inspired by nature—have the ability to reduce stress, improve our well-being, and stimulate creativity. These “symbolic references to contoured, patterned, textured or numerical arrangements that persist in nature,” are the inspiration for many of Parasoleil’s patterns and can help people in spaces with such designs feel closer to nature—whether indoors or out—receiving the positive aspects of Biophilic design cues.
