Sumi, a 2020 release gets 21 new colorways in 2021

Sumi, a fabric release for Camira in 2020 was so popular due to its simplicity, it gets a color additive release of 21 colors in 2021!

The original release focused on a neutral palette, so the new colors head into darker tones and delicate pastels to bright and saturated hues.

This lightweight fabric is designed for multiple use and is approved for upholstery, vertical surfaces, curtains, drapery, and acoustic panels for any of your project design needs while meeting some of the most stringent environmental certifications.

Lynn Kingdon, Head of Creative at Camira, had this to say of Sumi’s newly released color range: “Inspired by natural dyes, we really sought to develop colours which could be created from plants and minerals and were very much in tune with the organic aesthetic of the range – and you can see this in the palette; with eucalyptus green sitting alongside indigo blue and saffron yellow accompanied by madder red, the new Sumi shades are a celebration and evocation of natural beauty.”
