Meet Armadillo, the little armored one that could

Italian for little armored one, Armadillo is a tough, confident and quirky combination with a subtle weave pattern creating balance through color, texture and construction. It has a pronounced line and flexible ply that curls in on itself much like the animal it takes its name from. The use of wool flax yarn dots the textile with visual flecks that bring charm and personality to the textile. It is that same flax content that brings with it a natural flame retardancy.

Originally created in the 1960's, Camira has released 12 colorways that were faithfully recreated from the original colorways of Jens Risom’s textile while adding calm and quiet options to help make the collection as relevant today as it was when it was first released. The same ideals were used as a guide in terms of construction, using modern manufacturing techniques and adjusting the nylon content to fit the needs of today. Use independently or coordinate with Zap, another of Risom’s textiles brought back to life by Camira. Comes in 54 width at $62/yd. Contact Me for more information.
